Vineyard Altinus is located near the centre of Beselare.
It is a non-profit association of eight enthusiastic winemakers whose aim is to make the art of viticulture and winemaking known to a wide public.
To this end, it operates a half-hectare vineyard on which two grape varieties were planted in 2018 and 2019: 1150 Johanitter plants and 350 Solaris plants.
All work on the vineyard and in the wine cellar is done with a lot of artisanal passion and under our own direction. For this, we can also rely on a group of external volunteers. Depending on the season, still or sparkling wine is produced. Organising guided tours for groups or associations is a priority activity for us.
If you would like your association or group to have a guided tour of the vineyard and the winemaking area with a corresponding tasting, please contact us at: [email protected].
Altinus Vineyard can be reached via the church driveway diagonally in front of the house
