The New Zealand Forces Memorial is located opposite the CWGC Buttes New British Cemetery. Here the New Zealanders who went missing near Polygon Forest in the winter of 1917-1918 are commemorated. In front of the hill is the Stone of Remembrance. A special feature of the cemetery is the lack of a Cross of Sacrifice. Those can be found at the CWGC Polygon Wood Cemetery. Both cemeteries are visually connected, which was also the intention when they were established.

The memorial to the New Zealand Division is located at the intersection of Schipstraat and ‘s Graventafelstraat in the hamlet of ‘s Graventafel. Unveiled in 1924, the memorial commemorates the role of the New Zealand Forces during the Third Battle of Ypres, more specifically the Battle of Broodseinde (4 October 1917). It is set in a specially landscaped park with poplars and Portuguese cherry laurel. Everything is made in white natural stone.
