In the shadow of Beselare’s church you will find De Elfpenner. A purebred café where the bar quickly seduces you. Carline has been on post since 2008 and has decorated De Elfpenner entirely to her taste with fun mood lighting and bright curtains.
The Elfpenner refers to the pigeon club that finds its regular pub there. A pigeon with eleven pins, or feathers, on one wing is apparently one that is very rare. Go inside and discover its amusing references to the Beselaar Witches’ Parish. You’ll enjoy tasty refreshments on the south-facing terrace while watching the parish live all around.
