Toutes les vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de menthe prosp\u00e8rent dans des environnements humides, o\u00f9 elles peuvent prolif\u00e9rer s\u00e9rieusement. La menthe poivr\u00e9e fleurit de juillet \u00e0 septembre.<\/p>\n<p>En tant que m\u00e9dicament, cette plante \u00e9tait particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e sous forme de tisane. Elle am\u00e9liore le syst\u00e8me digestif et a des effets b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques sur de nombreux organes li\u00e9s \u00e0 la digestion. Elle est donc efficace contre les troubles douloureux de l&rsquo;estomac et de l&rsquo;intestin, tels que les ulc\u00e8res d&rsquo;estomac.<\/p>\n<p>Les feuilles de cette plante ont un go\u00fbt de camphre, mais apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;extraction des plantes, elles produisent l&rsquo;ar\u00f4me typique de menthe poivr\u00e9e utilis\u00e9 pour la fabrication des bonbons \u00e0 la menthe poivr\u00e9e. Le camphre a une odeur fra\u00eeche caract\u00e9ristique que de nombreuses personnes trouvent tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able.
