Le site choisi est sur la hauteur de Frezenberg car c&rsquo;est dans cette zone que la <strong>15e division \u00e9cossaise<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 impliqu\u00e9e dans une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;attaques sanglantes le 31 juillet et \u00e0 la mi-ao\u00fbt 1917. Le site offre une vue parfaite sur l&rsquo;ancien champ de bataille o\u00f9 les actions ont eu lieu.<\/p>\n<h2>Haute Croix ou Croix celtique<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;entreprise \u00e9tait unique car elle a choisi de d\u00e9dier le monument \u00e0 toutes les personnes d&rsquo;origine \u00e9cossaise qui ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale. La forme de ce monument est une \u00ab\u00a0haute croix\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0croix celtique\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en granit \u00e9cossais. La croix mesure environ <strong>quatre m\u00e8tres de haut<\/strong>. L&rsquo;inspiration pour la composition de ce monument peut \u00eatre trouv\u00e9e dans toute l&rsquo;\u00c9cosse.
