During the route you will cycle past many monuments and landscape sites in Ypres, you can relax for a while in the provincial domain De Palingbeek or look at the sun in AstroLAB Iris.<\/p>\n<p>But like just about every other site, the Great War is never far away. En route to the peaceful Polygoonbos (Den Doel), you pass the child-friendly restaurant &#8216;t Nonnebos and the crater landscape of Hill 60, which commemorates the battle for Ypres in &#8217;14-&#8217;18.
