The largest concrete structure was set up as a <strong>medical dressing<\/strong> station after its capture on 4 October 1917 by the 3rd Australian Division.<\/p>\n<h2>Cross of Sacrifice<\/h2>\n<p>The Cross of Sacrifice at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toerismezonnebeke.be\/zien-en-doen\/tyne-cot-cemetery\/\">CWGC Tyne Cot Cemetery<\/a> was built on this bunker. Therefore, the &#8216;cross&#8217; has an unusual pedestal.
