Geluveld is a well-know village. On 31 October, the Germans were boldly and heroically stopped there. This resistance laid the foundations for the following 4 years. The village remains of great importance to the Germans and is world-famous for its Menin Road, which ends under the Menin Gate in Ypres.<\/p>\n
Along the walk are several information carriers telling you the history of Geluveld. You will also enjoy beautiful views. The wheelchair-accessible Geluveld walk is 2.6 km. Download the walking map<\/a> here.<\/strong><\/p>\n The walking loop starts and ends at the corner of the church on accessible paths. The type of surface is indicated on the plan and<\/strong> is mainly paved. The semi-paved sections are of such quality with fine crushed stone to make it doable for wheelchair users.<\/p>\n There are no accessible toilets at the start site.<\/p>\n We recommend an attendant<\/strong>.
